Secondary school start!

It has been a year since i started my secondary education at Victoria School, i am now a secondary 2 student, which means i can bully all my juniors!
Yes!(just kidding)

The change from a primary school to a secondary school was a pretty big event for some of the students, including myself.First of all there is the change of location.Imagine yourself going to the same place for 6 years as part of your daily routine,then you suddenly change location,you probably can not get used to it for a while. Secondly, there is the increase in difficulty for school work ,the increase was so great that i almost failed my exams(I repeat ALMOST)!

During the beginning of the year i was having a hard time choosing my CCA(check one of my earlier post for an explanation).In the end i chose to join the school's choir.If you know me you would have never guessed that i would  join a choir due to my size and tendency to be violent with those that i do not like,but i like singing and there some pretty big events planned for the choir last year.

One of them was a chance to go oversea for a choir competition.The competition's name was oriental concentus and there were enemies at every corner and boy were they good.We practiced and practiced till our voice ached and finally we got the results that we were hoping for even though it was off the actual target by a little bit. We got a silver A and a gold C in the end

The other event was the Youth Olympic Game(YOG). The choir was invited to perform the national anthem of Singapore at the world's first YOG. That was a big honor by school and international standards!

The entire year was full of surprises and there was not a single regret.

my recent life

Hi readers,this post is just a little something to tell you about me.

I used to go to Holy Innocents' Primary School.There i chose basketball as my CCA(after school activities).There was a lot of practices and our coach was very strict.He made us,who were only in primary school,do drills that were meant for secondary school students!To play in the nationals championship was  the goal of our team,but unfortunately we were not even able to go to the quarter finals of the regional tournament.

I remember one time after a tiring competition,i was told to take a bus to my parent's office,but i overslept and did not know what to do.At the time i was only 10 years old and still did not know what to do when i am alone in public.I was sobbing when i realized i had overslept and missed my stop,then again, i took part in a tiring competition that day, so who could blame me?I was only able to contact my parents and ask them to come and fetch me due to some kind people who loan me their phone(i did not have a phone at the time).

A few years passed and it was time for me to take the PSLE(Primary School Leaving Examinations),which would decide what secondary school would i go to and what path in live would i take in the future.The exams were all really hard,i heard at the time that the parents were complaining because their children told them the mathematics paper was too hard,i myself found the questions quite easy.I was in for a big surprise when i received my results because i scored 247 out of 300 points for the exams.I had never guessed that i would have done that well as i was actually slacking a lot through out the entire examinations period.I was able to go the school that i want due to my score.

NO ideas for a blog please give some ideas

blogging

I personally think that blogging is lots of fun.We get to share our own thoughts with the world and hear their comments.We also can get to allow others to hear the music,watch videos or see the picture we like.It allows the world to understand your personal feelings and your mood depending on how and what you write.It is also very simple to create your own blog.

I remember the first time i posted a blog entry. I was at my parents' office. There was nothing for me to do as my father was using the laptop and all the other computer was also being used at the time, i did not wanted to do my homework as it was a pain. Then i remember about what my English teacher had said that day during lessons about how blogging was part of my studies and started to work on my blog. It was boring at first but i became more and more interested in blogging. I usually would have close to zero ideas when it came to writing essays but when i was writing my blog entry the ideas continued to pour out like a running tap, my fingers were practically flying across the keyboard as i typed word after word and sentences after sentences. Both my parents were surprised at this turn of events and encouraged me to give it my best and create the best blog that i could. I could not be stopped that day and as soon as i came home from my parents' office i immediately switched on my computer to continue blogging.

Anifest 2010 Singapore

When me and my best buddy show the news article in the news paper that they was going be an anime convention in Singapore during that coming year's year end holidays,we were both excited as we were both otakus(just in case you did not know it just means an anime fanatic),we immediately made a promise to go to the convention during the holidays.We made that promise months before the convention.
After the year end exams were over,the days passed by quickly,soon the day of the convention was only a mere few hours.In the news article, it said the anime convention was on the 12th of November to the 14th,oh were we in for a big surprise!When me and my friend went to Suntec City,where the convention was held,on the 12th we found out that to our disappointment that the anime convention only started on the 13th.Me and my friend immediately made arrangement to meet on the 14th.On the way back to the MRT station we felt hungry and decided to buy some takoyaki(a ball of flour mixed with water with a piece of either octopus or shrimp inside).We were surprised again for the second time that day, when i had only ordered 4 takoyaki the chef there gave me 8!I asked the cashier when i was paying what was going on, she said that the stall that they were operating had only began business a few days ago and there was a 1 for 1 promotion for each takoyaki we bought.Now that i think about it that day did not seem so bad after all.
Then came the 14th,i was thrilled to experience my first anime convention.I had reached the convention earlier than my friend,so i went on inside the anime convention before him after buying the entry tickets for the both of us.I was surrounded by cosplayers dressing up as their favourite characters and my fellow otakus.There was a artist gallery where members from the public could show case their artistic talent and draw to their hearts content.Animax had also send some of their staff to participate in fun.They allowed us to try out voice acting and boy was it hard!I either was too fast or too slow.Sega also joined the convention,they brought out they latest game:Project Diva Arcade version! I tried out the game,but the waiting line for a chance to play was so long that i had at least 1 hour,but it was super fun.This is the song i played on the Project Diva Arcade version.
That was when my friend came and i went for lunch.
When i came back from lunch,i realised that the place was practically flooded with figma dolls!They about the size of my tip of my longest finger to the end of my palm and doll came with all sorts of little accessories but each cost at least $50!I could not afford to buy such an expensive yet worthless(to me anyway)toy!
After walking around the convention for around 2 hours,i decided to go and line up to play Project Diva,this time with my friend.This time i tried a harder level than before,only to see the word failed appear on the screen after at most 1 minute of game play.I blamed my failure at my ignorance to the fact that i lack skill and practice.i decided to say my fare well to the convention,but not before i got some souvenirs.i bought a cushion with a picture of characters from 1 of my favorite anime:D Gray Men and a bookmark with a picture of a character from another of my favorite anime:Katekyoshi Hitman Reborn.
The entire experience was very enjoyable and it will be something i would never forget.

Today the weather was fine from the morning to the early afternoon ,then at around 3.30 P.M it started raining and it continued to pour for 1 hour or so. You know the saying,when the cats are away,the mouse will play,in this case,  the cats were my parents and the mouse was me.Homework was neglected till after dinner(i cooked it myself and it was pretty tasty,if i do say so myself),games were played immediately after.I was laughing through out the entire time when i was watching Gintama and reading Beelzebub,they were so funny. It was around 10:30 PM when i went to bed,but i was not tired at all so i started to read.It was 00:00 when i finally went to sleep.

So that conclude the things that i was doing today.
